Sustainability

At Rough Day Club Gifts, we believe small choices make a big difference. From the paper we print on to the packaging we send your orders in, we’re committed to doing things responsibly — creating quality products while keeping our environmental impact as low as possible.

We’re not perfect, but we’re making progress every day — and we’ll always be open about the steps we’re taking.

1. Sustainable Materials

Every Rough Day Club greeting card is printed on FSC-certified card stock, sourced from responsibly managed forests.
Our envelopes are made using recycled paper and our packaging is designed to protect your order while using as little material as possible.

We work with trusted UK suppliers to ensure everything from our paper stock to our printing inks meets high environmental standards.

2. Responsible Production

All our cards and gifts are designed, printed and packed in the UK, keeping our carbon footprint low and supporting local production.
We print to order where possible — reducing waste and avoiding unnecessary overstock.

Our studio recycles paper offcuts and packaging materials daily, and we continually look for new ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

3. Packaging & Delivery

Your order will arrive in packaging that’s sturdy, simple and recyclable wherever possible.
We use board-backed envelopes for cards and protective materials for gifts that are minimal but effective.

  • We also work with delivery partners who are investing in carbon-conscious logistics, helping reduce emissions with every parcel sent.

4. Long-Lasting Design

We believe sustainability isn’t just about materials — it’s about meaning.
Each Rough Day Club card is designed to last, with timeless artwork, high-quality printing and durable materials so it can be kept, displayed or reused rather than thrown away.

We create products made to make someone’s day — without costing the planet one.

5. Looking Ahead

Sustainability is an ongoing journey.
We’re continuing to explore:

  • Alternative eco-friendly packaging solutions.
  • Lower-impact printing processes.
  • Expanding our range of recycled and recyclable gift products.

If you have suggestions or questions about our sustainability efforts, we’d love to hear from you.
