How It Started
Rough Day Club began as part of TavernCreative, our small UK design studio based in Ashford, Kent. We wanted to create cards and gifts that people could actually connect with — the kind that make you smile, laugh, or feel seen on a rough day.
Every design starts in our studio and is printed right here in the UK on premium FSC-certified card. We keep things small, personal and hands-on, so every order that leaves our desk is something we’re proud to have made.
What We Believe
We believe a good card can do a lot. It can make someone laugh out loud, start a conversation, or remind someone they matter. That’s what Rough Day Club is all about — real emotion, good design, and a bit of humour to balance it out.
We’re also serious about quality and sustainability. Our materials are responsibly sourced, our packaging is recyclable, and our designs are made to be kept — not tossed away the next day.
